We would like to take this opportunity and extend to you and your family, a sparkling and safe 4th of July! Our goal this year was to decorate like crazy to “take back the flag”, in a meaningful, and conscientious way that serves to celebrate inclusion, and the reason for this holiday…FREEDOM!
The Declaration of Independence is where it all began…and as such, remembering the “what for”, and “Who For”, should not be overlooked. Certainly, the flag most recently has taken on a negative tone, being used as a symbol to represent an extremist viewpoint which is not representative of our goals and hopes as Americans, but none the less, is an example of what our freedom does protect…the right to be you however that is expressed. What we believe most Americans are hoping for is unity, progress, and truth, working for a future that benefits and serves all of us.
So, as you celebrate this weekend with hotdogs, sparklers, and your favorite beverage…remember to raise a glass or a can, to each other, and thank them for being a part of the American experience!
